My Hannukah gift

This morning at 3:49, God was faithful to us. He didn't keep the oil burning in the lamps for us, but He did grant us a miracle on this, the last day of the Feast of Lights: Mark Aidan Besim Meyers came forth into this world at that time. Mom is tired, but doing really well. She may not think say so, but she did splendidly. The boy is excellent. 6 lbs 3 oz., 20.5 inches long. More later. Laur is sleeping and I am going to grab 40 winks myself.

Baruch Atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech ha'olam oseh ma'aseh vereshit.
(We praise You, Eternal God, Sovereign of the universe, Source of creation and its wonders.)
Pax, jefe

Hey Jeff and family,
Congratulations! and prayers...we are at the other side or maybe the middle of the child-raising thing, as ours are now 23 (engaged), 22, 20 (dating Brandon Taets, Gregg Hampton's roommate in Colorado Springs), and 18 (she's grounded).....
